The Institute for Experimental Oncology consists of an in vitro evaluation unit and in addition to this offers in vivo testing services.

Working with an unique tumor collection, built up over the last 20 years, Oncotest has gained high expertise in preclinical profiling of anticancer agents. In addition, a panel of 60 cell lines commonly used in cancer research are also available for testing.

To select suitable test tumors for in vitro and in vivo testing we can analyse the target expression, in our tumor collection using Affymetrix gene chips and Tissue Micro Arrays.

To give further insights into the mechanism of action of compounds we offer a panel of tests including a compare software analysis, flow cytometry and molecular biology methods.
